We had to quickly do some repairs on our place to ready it for sale and she managed to contact and connect us with several excellent tradespeople, who showed up and did the repairs right away for a very fair price. She personally oversaw their work every step of the way and made sure it was done well and on time. We've moved a couple of times in the last five years and in our experience it is very unusual for a real estate person to be this engaged, connected, knowledgeable and proactive. Dana Schaefer found us a home! It was hard to find what we wanted, but she was incredibly patient, never got frustrated with us, or discouraged over a couple of years of searching. Dana was also helpful in that she is very knowledgeable about house construction and systems, as well as having good home inspectors on her list. We bid on more than one property over the two years, and she provided great support to us. And at the (successful) end, she provided useful context and a steady hand to help us put our bid together. Dana is absolutely wonderful to work with! Dana was recommended to us by a friend, and we could not be happier with the advice and service we received from her while buying one condo and selling another in the competitive Cambridge market. She is the consummate professional; calm, kind, extremely knowledgeable, and very responsive. On the buying side, we had very specific criteria for location, size, parking, etc., which did not leave very many potential properties. We followed her advice on pricing, and we received multiple excellent offers in the first weekend of listing.
